May 26-June 1 Update

It was a week of migraines; I was so sick. I had 3 migraines and had a splitting headache for two other days. Thankfully I completed most of my schoolwork last weekend, as I couldn’t do much this week. Sage was having a 25% off sale this week, so I ordered a peppermint halo and an Extra Strength roller to replace the ones I have almost run out of. I prefer to use the oils instead of taking Tylenol, if at all possible, and I find the Peppermint Halo very effective.

Oops, I did it again: I had gotten Disney+ for the 3-month trial of $1.99 per month and made the canceling error again. I was sure I learned my lesson the last time. I guess I didn’t. I was charged $8.39. It has now been canceled but I am paid until June 29. I also thought that I had made a payment to my credit card when I booked the camping and the Air B&Bs for my Van Isle trip this summer with my niece & nephew. I didn’t. I was floored when I saw my balance, as I hadn’t used my credit card. I wrote the balance down in my book that I record my Shopping Ban details in but forgot to actually make the payment. ☹ So, this month will be super tight as I paid it in full.

I have to take Coenzyme Q10 for migraine prevention; they were on a killer sale this week, so I bought two bottles. They were $68 instead of $112. This will do me for 4 months.

Temptations this week – I had to buy an ink refill for my pen for the courses I am taking and saw a paperclip that has a coiled ring attached, used to hold a pen on your Moleskin journal. It was $5.98, but I decided against it.

Money this week was spent on my gym membership, my Apple iCloud account storage, rent, saw cable/internet, oils from Sage, groceries, massage and chiro appointments (had to pay in full as Manulife wasn’t working, but will get money back), one Vietnamese meal out, my cell phone bill, and I paid the credit card in full.

Money saved this week went into my Pet Emergency account, my Shopping Ban account, and my Winter Tire account.

I recently (March 2024) began a shopping ban, and would like to blog about that, life with a doodle, grief and personal therapies, and my Bleeding disorder. I am excited to start writing for you, and am interested on your thoughts on my writing!
